About the Hotel
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is inspired by the traditional African Kraal, with a curved horseshoe design that offers views of four abundant savannas home to more than 200 hoofed animals and birds. The property includes a pool spanning over 1,000 square meters (10,764 sq ft) with a beach-access and a water park with three different areas with playgrounds ideal for children up to 4 years of age, from 5 to 7 years, and older than 8. There is also a fully-equipped fitness center and a Spa. To delight in new flavors, the restaurants serve specialties with African inspiration and classic American dishes and African beer and wines.
Accommodations are equipped with in-room safe, WiFi, coffeemaker, and mini-refrigerator. Club level categories also enjoy customized front desk services and access to a lounge that serves soft drinks all day long. The hotel also offers access to the pool, the water park, Jacuzzis, the game room, gift shops, and the fitness center at the Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village (fees apply in certain services and facilities).
The property is 3 kilometers (1.9 mi) from Disney's Animal Kingdom®, 8 kilometers (5 mi) from Disney Boardwalk®, and 24 kilometers (14.9 mi) from Universal Studios®. The hotel is 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) from the community of Celebration and 37 kilometers (23 mi) from downtown Orlando. Orlando International Airport (MCO) is 39 kilometers (24.2 mi) away.
***Dining plans: The DISNEY QUICK-SERVICE DINING plan is a fast and easy option where guests aged 3 and older receive: 2 quick-service meals, 1 snack or drink, and 1 resort-refillable drink mug. The DISNEY DINING PLAN offers classic dining options at both quick-service and table-service restaurants, including character dining locations. Included: 1 quick-service meal, 1 table-service meal, 1 snack or drink, and 1 resort-refillable drink mug. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: the specific number of meals and snacks is determined by the number of nights included in the package stay. Meals and snacks can be redeemed at any time during the stay.
